A touch of cello
I wanted to tinker in Ableton with some cello recording sounds. I made this quick 30 second track this afternoon.
I took the same track, duplicated it a couple of times, added some reverb to one track and the JUN-6 chorus to another — then I panned one track partially left, one track partially right, and one track dead center. Nothing spectacular, but fun to tinker. Next time I make an attempt at this type of quick track, I think I’ll take the time to record three separate times instead of duplicating the same track. While I can hear some of the effects, I think because each track features the exact same cello part, it doesn’t create the multi-voicing sound I was hoping to achieve. Here’s a quick screen shot of this simple quick set:

You have a graceful perfect Paula pitch, hearing and playing. This is no small contribution to your musicianship. Bravo! My father had an aching perfect pitch. My orchestra concerts in 7th grade were excruciatingly painful for him.
