About AAEAA

An Ableton Experience with Alex and Adam = “AAEAA”

This project is a collaboration between Alex Boulos and Adam Lemmon. We are documenting our experiment to teach and to learn. This is about making music, and recording it. Adam is an amateur musician who wants to learn. Alex is an experienced producer who wants to teach.

About Alex

Alex Boulos (www.alexboulos.com) is a music producer, performer, and teacher currently living in Austin, TX. He is best known for his addictive melodies made from a blend of piano improvisation and digital mixing. With his emphasis on evolving sounds and the harmonies’ colors and tensions, his work is a source of inspiration for other artists. Through his work on AAEAA, he wants to level up his experience teaching others how to use Ableton Live.

About Adam

At rest and at ease Adam is an impassioned modern impresario, weaving together resources and opportunities to put on a show. Improvisational theater, artistic self-expression, and a pension for making anything and everything more interesting all fuel Adam’s need to march to his own drum. He is a tech professional by day, and an artist by night (he is co-founder of www.badassbackpacks.com). Adam has been a music lover and a musician his entire life; yet, he has struggled to embrace the title of “musician”. Through his work on AAEAA, he wants to level up his experience making music, and he wants to learn how to use Ableton Live.

Our 2021 Goals

In 2021, Alex and Adam have a goal of meeting one time each week to practice and to experience leveling up together using Ableton Live to make music.

  • Meet once weekly.
  • Teach Ableton Live.
  • Learn Ableton Live.
  • Level up our music making.
  • Document the experience.
  • This project and our goals will evolve.
